Mathu AI provides AI operations software for hospitality teams. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our website, contact us, request a demo, or use our services.
Information We Collect
We may collect contact details, business information, account information, communications with us, product usage data, device and browser data, and any content you or your organization choose to provide through Mathu AI services.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate and improve Mathu AI, respond to inquiries, schedule demos, provide support, secure our services, analyze performance, comply with legal obligations, and communicate about product updates or business matters.
Sharing Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, business partners involved in delivering the service, professional advisors, authorities when required by law, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition.
AI and Service Providers
Mathu AI uses OpenAI as a third-party AI provider to power chat, voice conversations, task-note analysis, and conversation titles. When you use these features, Mathu may send user messages, voice audio or transcripts, recent conversation context, relevant hotel operations records such as room, task, team, and policy data, and generated tool results to OpenAI so the service can produce a response or classify operational notes.
A hotel owner can approve AI data use once for the workspace in the Mathu app from Settings, Legal, which enables AI-powered chat, voice, and operational AI features for authorized team members in that hotel. Until workspace approval is granted, individual users can approve AI data use for their own account before using those features. Users can also review this disclosure in Settings, Legal.
Data Retention and Security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal obligations. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
AI-generated replies, voice transcripts, chat history, task changes, tool results, and audit events are stored in Mathu cloud systems so authorized workspace users can access operational history across devices. They are not stored only on the local device.
Your Choices
You may request access, correction, deletion, or other available privacy rights through the Mathu AI app, from the account deletion page, or by contacting us. Some requests may depend on your location, relationship with Mathu AI, and legal requirements.
